Please join us Thursday February 16th to help support local firefighter Captain Shane Mackey. Captain Mackey is a 13 year veteran with the Asheville Fire Department. Captain Mackey had a blood clot on his spinal cord which has left him paralyzed from the wait down. He is currently in treatment at the Sheppard Center in Atlanta. He is scheduled to come home the end of this month and needs our community support. He is going to have a long road of recovery in front of him and financial difficulties to pay for all of his treatment that he has already had and what is yet to come. Please join us in showing him, his wife and 2 sons that our community does support our service people. Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring!

Well, we have certainly had a doozie of a winter here in Asheville and are so happy that Spring has sprung! Although our winter was long and cold, it offered us a great opportunity to do some renovations. Being in one spot for as long as we have, we were long overdue! Some of the areas we worked on: we repainted our dining room and bathrooms, painted our celiing, put up new track lighting, put new sinks and counters in our bathrooms, laid new flooring in our upstairs storage area and ripped out all our old shelving and replaced it with new. We are excited about more changes coming our way this spring with purchasing new chairs, getting an awning up in our outside dining area, and updating our lighting. There is certainly plenty to get in line before the labor of a busy summer. Be sure to stop by and check out our updated digs and grab a bite of great food! See you soon...
